Rotating a PDF is one of those small fixes almost everyone needs sooner or later — a contract that came back from the scanner sideways, a spreadsheet exported in landscape, or a phone photo saved into a PDF upside down. How to rotate a PDF and save the changes

Select Download Rotated PDF, then reopen the downloaded copy to check the page orientation. Your original file is unchanged.
Example: fix one sideways page or an upside-down scan
If page 2 is sideways but the other pages are correct, use only the arrows below thumbnail 2. One right click turns it 90° clockwise; one left click turns it 90° counterclockwise. Check the preview before downloading.
For an upside-down page, click the same arrow twice for a 180° turn. Four turns in the same direction return a page to its starting orientation. All left and All right apply a quarter-turn to every page.
Saved PDF rotation versus rotating the view
A PDF viewer may rotate only the current view. This tool writes page orientation into a new PDF file. Open the downloaded file, rather than the original, to check that the change was saved.
Rotation uses 90° steps. It does not straighten a scan tilted by a few degrees, crop margins, or change the document's text. To trim empty borders, use the PDF crop tool.
Before rotating a large or signed PDF
Keep the original document. Saving an edited copy may invalidate digital signatures. Password-protected or damaged PDFs may not load; check that the file opens normally first. Large scans can use considerable browser memory, so close unused tabs or try a smaller document if previews stall.
On a phone, choose the PDF from Files, rotate the numbered thumbnails, and save the download. Your browser may put the corrected file in Downloads rather than alongside the original.
